Sponsorship Coordinator

Description: Sponsorship Coordinator reports directly to the Volunteer Coordinator.  The SC is responsible for coordinating sponsorship contracts, sponsorship tracking and relations.  The SC will follow a professionally prepared fundraising plan, become familiar with Groovy Mondays programming, sponsorship levels and will seek out new opportunities and develop new suitable and relevant sponsor contacts.  They will ensure that all details of contracts are followed through and that agreements are handled and followed up in a timely manner. 

Type of Position & Duration: The Sponsorship Coordinator position is a part-time unpaid volunteer opportunity



Qualifications:
-Post-secondary education or enrollment preferred
-Experience in the music industry an asset
-Sponsorship or fundraising experience
-Ability to work in a team environment and independently
-Computer skills, MS Office experience a must
-Regular access to a computer and email required
-Interest and passion for grassroots music initiatives
-Experience in the not-for-profit sector an asset
-Detail-oriented
-Interpersonal communications skills required
-Customer service experience

Volunteer Coordinator

Description: Volunteer Coordinator reports directly to the General Manager.  The VC is responsible for coordinating all volunteer positions, tracking and relations.  The VC will work directly with volunteers, coordinate schedules and will ensure that all work deadlines are met.  They will also help the Board develop a volunteer policy and recruitment methods, including assessment criteria.

Type of Position & Duration: The Volunteer Coordinator position is a part-time unpaid volunteer opportunity

Qualifications:
-Post-secondary education or enrollment preferred
-Experience in the music industry an asset
-Volunteer history and experience
-Ability to work in a team environment and independently
-Computer skills, MS Office experience a must
